This summer, I went on a two-week vacation (more about that soon) and there were some products I used and loved. I wanted to share my top favorites with you and why I loved them so much. Let’s jump right in!
Unfortunately, I am a terrible packer, almost always overpacking. I have little bags for skincare, haircare, and a separate makeup bag and the total weight of everything is probably five solid pounds. I might be able to pack in a carry on were it not for the personal care products I bring.
I brought with me my favorite cleansing oil, Josh Rosebrook Herbal Infusion Oil. My bottle was older and it has been redone to look all sleek and pretty.
I absolutely love this oil because it removes all makeup and you can use it for hydrating the skin, it’s a double-duty product that tops my all-time favorite list. Plus, it’s green and clean, nontoxic, and simply perfection. The oil can also be used on any body part.
I slathered this all over my face then used an organic cleansing wipe (bought from Sprouts Market) to remove all makeup. It even removes mascara!
This kit is what you need for a trip, smaller travel sizes are awesome for packing. There are about ten days worth of shampoo/conditioner and the oil will last much longer since you use such a tiny amount.
The Klorane Summer Hair Weekender Kit smells so good thanks to the Ylang Ylang wax, I love the scent! The products are incredibly moisturizing for dry, color-treated hair like mine!
The shampoo is so luxurious and gently cleanses the hair, the conditioner repairs damaged hair and gives a surge of hydration without weighing hair down. I used the Protective Oil after blow-drying and heat styling, spray on ends of hair to keep hair from looking and feeling parched.
This whole kit is excellent for color-treated hair, hair that’s been in pool or ocean water, or hair that is brittle from the summer heat.
I am a big fan of Klorane, the products work extremely well and are so gentle. This brand utilizes plant-based ingredients and has a long history of biodegradable products and eco-designed packaging.

I won’t go on a trip without my skincare, this includes the Glytone Night Renewal Cream.
You can FEEL it working! No matter what goes on during the day, no matter how exhausted I am, I never ever skip my skincare routine which includes completely removing all traces of makeup and applying nightly creams or serums along with a good eye cream.
This cream which contains Glycolic Acid and Retinaldehyde helps with cellular turnover resulting in a brighter, more even complexion. I have seen sunspots fade and my skin is more even-toned since using this product. Sometimes I add a moisturizer on top of this to give my face more hydration. Adding a cream like this to your nightly routine is a great idea for those concerned with spots and hyperpigmentation as well as fine lines.
You cannot go wrong with Glytone! There are many highly effective products and collections to choose from.
I found this Rosehip and Hibiscus Eye Cream from LilyAna Naturals on Amazon and bought it thanks to the raving reviews. This cream contains “no Parabens, artificial colors or artificial fragrances, manufactured in the USA at our FDA Registered and USDA Organic Certified facility and Vegan-friendly, Cruelty-free – never tested on animals!”
While I haven’t seen giant improvements, I do like this eye cream for morning and night. Only a small amount is needed and any leftover can be applied to the face. It’s so nurturing to the skin and super moisturizing. Skin is super duper soft after applying this! I actually like it for my neck too.
In the morning, I apply a little to each eye and then dab on my concealer. At night, I use a little more and let it soak in. This eye cream doesn’t bother my ultra-sensitive eyes. As with most products, you need to use consistently to see improvements. This has been my go-to eye cream for a while and I just love how gentle it is!
I have also been using these products:
Not Your Mothers All Eyes On Me 10-In-1 Hair Perfector sprayed lightly all over hair to battle frizz and soften hair. IT WORKS! My hair is less frizzy for sure.
On the very ends of my hair, I have been using TRESemme Keratin Smooth Shine Serum, purchased while on vacation and needing something to combat east coast humidity. After heat styling, I then use the above mentioned Klorane Protective Oil.
Klorane Under Eye Patches which make a BIG difference for tired eyes, puffiness, and circles.
An impulse buy while at Target, I bought NYX Professional Makeup Dark Circle Concealer which helps disguise my under-eye circles.
Another impulse buy recently that I ended up liking was the Neutrogena Hydrating Lip Shine gloss which infuses lips with hydration and keeps lips from getting chapped.
My first pick is ALWAYS natural and organic but there are times when I purchase products on a whim.
