When I opened my box of Olivina Honeysuckle Rose soap, I thought I’d died and gone to heaven. There is no better scent in the world than this delicious blend of honeysuckle and rose.
Olivina Napa Valley is a company founded by Susan Costner-Kenward, an accomplished writer who won prestigious James Beard awards for her cookbooks. I want to visit her in Napa Valley where she can teach me to cook. Then I can see how she makes these amazing products. I have it all planned out, for research purposes of course.
Susan developed the Olivina body care line using pure California grown olive oil in her line which includes Olive, Fig and Lavender and now Honeysuckle Rose.
I tested the soap and hand lotion. Both products are free from parabens, preservatives and sodium lauryl sulfates, you really do not want these chemicals in your bodycare products. I have been using the soap with no allergic reactions and the hand lotion is frequently applied as I cannot get enough of the scent.
The hand lotion is rich and thick, made with shea butter, olive, grapeseed and almond oils. It might be called hand lotion, but I use it everywhere- legs, arms, heels, elbows, neck, chest.
Olivina offers Body Butter, Bubble Bath, lotion, scented candles, soap in the Honeysuckle Rose scent. There is also Olive, Fig, Lavender, Meyer Lemon products and scents to try as well.
I love products like these from Olivina, very luxurious and well made with natural ingredients. I’d suggest these items as ideal gifts but why not spoil yourself instead? Go to the Olivina website for more information.
