I am obsessed with BIG hair and wish that the frizzy, giant, teased hair of the 1980’s would make an appearance now.

My thin, frizzy locks need all the help it can get in the volume department so I’m excited to share these products with you in the event you too are looking to pump up the volume on your own hair.

I’m giving you three different options and recommendations for getting HUGE hair.

You have the affordable and easy to find Drugstore option, higher-end Luxury, and Natural/Non Toxic. I have tried them all and can recommend them without hesitation.

If you are cruising the aisle of Target looking for products that will give your hair volume, check out Garnier Fructis. I have been using both the volume hairspray and the Sky High mousse for BIG hair.

The light mousse does a great job of giving hair lift and volume, creating the illusion of more hair. I apply a small sized amount in my hands and work through roots.

On the ends, I use the anti-free cream. I want my hair to have volume but look soft, keep the curls but not look frizzy.

The hairspray locks it in place though it still keeps hair soft and touchable. If you want to really add volume, you can directly spray the roots with the hairspray to give hair a lot of lift.

I like this brand of hair care and have used many of their products including Anti-Frizz Cream which works just as well as some of the higher- end products.

I have been a big fan of Rene Furterer products for years and recently discovered the Volumea Spray. This is an all-in-one spray that not only gives hair volume but helps keep hair soft. Sometimes sprays designed for volume will make hair hard or crispy, not this one!

This fantastic spray gives hair volume from roots to the ends, it detangles knots and also plumps the hair. I absolutely love this product because it does several things at once and is made with excellent ingredients like essential oils and key extracts. It also smells really good!

Apply this on clean, damp hair then style.

One more product I want to recommend because its so terrific for dry, color treated, frizzy hair is the Rene Furterer Karite Nutri Repair Serum. I am at the very end of mine and need more ASAP! The great thing about this particular product is that you only need a little bit for shoulder length hair so it does last for a long time.

Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any product from this line.

You just cannot do better than this spray from Josh Rosebrook. This is an absolutely amazing spray called Lift which really makes hair BIG and voluminous. You honestly cannot do any better than this for giving your hair lots of volume.

Made with all natural ingredients, Lift creates texture and intense volume that lasts all day.

“This herbal synergy of horsetail, lavender, sage, thyme, rosemary and peppermint work to gently stimulate the follicle and scalp. When the hair follicle is stimulated, the bulb is nourished through increased circulation, creating a stronger, thicker hair shaft.”

If I were to use ONLY natural products forevermore, I would use all of Josh’s fantastic hair and skin care. Learn more about Lift here.

I love the big sexy Bridget Bardot hairstyles in the above photo and actually tried to cut my bangs like hers and MESSED UP. If you know me in real life and you see me wearing hats, that is why!

I stumbled upon this video on YouTube which details how to get those “Bardot bangs” and style your hair like Bridget! Watch it and don’t do as I did and cut your own bangs.
