Candida Albicans is a fungus ( a yeast, specifically) that grows inside of your gut. Its normally kept under control by the balance of healthy bacteria but when it gets out of control, it can affect your entire body.
Candidiasis has the ability to produce 75 toxic substances that can poison the human body.
Growth of candida spreads like wildfire starting in the intestines and moving through the body, causing all kinds of symptoms from allergies to PMS to itching and rashes to hives and hemorrhoids.
There’s also fatigue, brain fog, sugar cravings and more!
Sounds lovely, right?
Common triggers include antibiotic use, birth control pills, a high sugar diet, stress, and a weakened immune system.
Treatment for candida is hardcore starting with diet: NO processed foods like cookies, crackers, deli meats, no yeast, no foods or juices with added sugar (some recommendations include not eating fruit), no alcohol, wine, no starchy foods such as potatoes or carrots.
You can eat eggs, non starchy vegetables, fresh meat, brown rice and quinoa.
Garlic and coconut oil are effective at helping get rid of candida but that’s not all you need to do to kill off the fungus. Oregano oil, coconut oil, apple cider vinegar, yogurt, clove, ginger also help.
You want to attack the candida and starve the cells. The die-off process, when the yeast begins to clear up is very unpleasant with flu-like symptoms. You have to get worse before you get better!
Yeast overgrowth is responsible for many illnesses and often goes undiagnosed for years. I almost feel like a yeast overgrowth is the starting point for cancer.
