I remember when The Body Shop first opened at the mall and it was the coolest place! They were among the first to bring out coconut and other fruit scented items and a whole host of products that were new and exciting to the world of skin and body care.
Since then, The Body Shop has really grown and now they offer even more beauty products.
Products from The Body Shop are vegetarian and cruelty-free. For me, if products are not purely green and clean then I make sure they are cruelty-free followed by not using animal ingredients.

Here’s what I tried recently:
The Lip and Cheek Stain adds long lasting, buildable color. This pigmented liquid blends quickly and sets within seconds, giving you rosy cheeks and red lips that last for hours.
The Nail Polishes are very light in texture, two coats are what you need for color that will last for days. These polishes are vegan and cruelty-free, also free from nasty toxins (no formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, dibutyl phthalate, camphor, or toluene).
The Born Lippy Balm is hydrating, smooth and very nurturing with a little sheer color.
If you are searching for strictly cruelty-free products then be sure to visit The Body Shop. They have an extensive list of products available online here.

This gloss from FACE Atelier has been in my purse for frequent touch ups. The consistency is perfect, not tacky or sticky or thick. It offers super shine and feels pleasant and light on the lips.
I am a lip gloss fanatic and gloss is one of my favorite beauty items.
This brand offers loads of makeup, all cruelty-free. Products are Peta and Leaping Bunny approved. Check out all they have to offer by going here.
